Costume Contest!

(Top Down: Lightning - Final Fantasy XIII | Wolverine - X-Men | Jay and Silent Bob - Clerks & Sub Zero and Scorpion - Mortal Kombat | Poison Ivy - Batman | Red Skull - Captain America)

Best part of this whole thing was definitely the cross over between Mortal Kombat and Clerks. Jay and Silent Bob sat down with controllers and they RP’d playing Mortal Kombat while Sub Zero and Scorpion fought. It was hilarious and I really hope they won their category. All of the cosplays were amazing. And I do have more pictures, but these are the ones that turned out the best. Everyone was definitely in character. I enjoyed seeing all of the different cosplayers.

The Batmobile and the Delorean. (Replicas)

A few pictures of the giant lego display that some of the guys from Lego set up at the comic con. I wish I was half as creative with Lego when I was growing up as these guys are now. This display blew me away.

Adam West Spotlight

Seriously, I need a better effing camera. My first one was better. But then again, I haven’t edited these photos cause I’m lazy. Anyways, continuing.

Anyone that knows me will tell you how much I am in love with Batman. He’s my favorite superhero of all time, and my bookshelf is full of Batman memorabilia. Therefore, I just had to go to the spotlight honoring the original Batman himself, Adam West.

I’m actually kind of pissed, we only got 15 minutes out of the hour with Adam West. Mainly because the building was 10,000 people over capacity and the fire marshal shut down the event, so for the first half hour, there was chaos in the halls and they refused to start the spotlight until it settled down, and of course they couldn’t push all of the schedules back just because this happened. I’m still happy it just went on though.

Most of the time was actually spent plugging Family Guy, and not honoring Batman, which is what it should have been, but either way, hearing about making the original Batman tv show, and behind the scenes on this stuff was incredible. I’m kind of shooting myself because I decided to not pay the money to get his autograph. But that’s because I really had no money to spend up there anyways. (I only had $90 for souvenirs and gas back home… so yeah. ): )

I’m still happy I got to go see him.

(From left to right: Billy West (Futurama: Philip J. Fry, Professor Hubert Farnsworth, Dr. Zoidberg, Zap Brannigan | Space Jam: Bugs Bunny, Elmer Fudd | The Ren and Stimpy Show: Stimpy.), Jim Cummings (Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, and hundreds of guest voices from various projects such as Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius, Hercules and Darkwing Duck), Quinton Flynn (Metal Gear Solid: Raiden | Kingdom Hearts: Axel | Various other projects such as: Johnny Quest, Spiderman, Speed Racer and the Human Torch), Tara Strong (Power Puff Girls: Bubbles | Batman: Arkham City: Harley Quinn/Harleen Quinzel | Drawn Together: Princess Clara, Toot Braunstein | Various other projects), Brian Froud (Total Drama Island: Harold, Sam | Various other voices from Bakugan, Beyblade and Jimmy Two-Shoes), Christian Potenza (Total Drama Island: Chris Maclean | 6Teen: Jude Lizowski | Various Other Projects)
I only went to a couple panels, but this one was my favorite. This was the “Cartoon Voices” panel, and we ended up getting a couple substitutions because John DiMaggio was supposed to be there, and that’s who I wanted to see. However, oh, these guys were hilarious. Tara Strong was my favorite, she was beaking the other guys so much for taking too long to answer questions. As well, Billy West and Christian Potenza were at each other (jokingly) because Christian only has one voice that he gets paid for. It was really an hour of jokes, because we only got two questions in (how did they get into the industry, and what is the craziest thing a fan has done to them).
The only thing I wish is that I got better quality pictures. My new camera sucks.

Catch up time.

First off, I’m female.. So if you’re gonna reblog me and add comments, or tags for that matter, girl here. Don’t call me male. Thanks.

Second, I’m going to catch up on 4 days of the Final Fantasy challenge, then I’m going to post about the fan expo, because it was incredible. And I am going to have to edit some of the photos to make them super fantastically less blurry. My camera sucks.
