Addictive Fantasies

So guess what. There are still VIP tickets left for the Video Games Live in the city closest to me (which, you can tell if you read the rest of my blog, but for now I really want these tickets so it is a nameless city) for $170 a pop. I want them, I want them, I want them. However, the concert is on November 3rd. I work in a major retail chain. I don’t know if I’m going to be able to get the 3rd and the 4th off. 

Maybe if I just ask to work only until like 2 on the 3rd and have the 4th off… Maybe. I mean, I’m in the good books at my work, and even though it’s in the blackout period I can do this. Sorry for ranting, I’m just super excited. 

Why did it have to be in November!? D=

Video Games Live Announces 2012 Canadian Tour

This fall, Video Games Live will be returning to Canada with a new 2012 tour! All new segments will include music from Final Fantasy, Legend of Zelda, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Pokemon, Warcraft, Diablo III, Earthworm Jim, Mass Effect, and even more.

Here are the tour dates:

• October 25: Toronto, ON - Massey Hall
• October 26: Montreal, QC - Bell Centre
• October 28: Kitchener, ON - Centre In The Square
• October 29: Ottawa, ON - National Arts Centre
• October 31: Winnipeg, MB - Centennial Concert Hall
• November 1: Saskatoon, SK - TCU Place – Sid Buckwold Theatre
• November 2: Regina, SK - Conexus Arts Centre
• November 3: Calgary, AB - Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium
• November 4: Edmonton, AB - Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium
• November 6: Vancouver, BC - Orpheum Theatre

Tickets will go on sale starting April 27 at 10am (April 28 at 10am for the Montreal show).

In addition to the new tour, Video Games Live will also host a live press conference that will be shown on twitchtv.com on April25 at 9pm EST.

I’m going to the one in Calgary. Work can bite me. (I think that’s the start of black out period for time off at work.)
